Difference between XRP Ledger and Interledger?

What are the difference between the XRP Ledger and Interledger?

Conside ledger as a database table which holds all your digital asset information(BTC, ETH, XRP (This is called XRP Ledger), BAT others…)

Interledge is basically a protocol. It’s designed to provide interface across multiple ledgers like Etherium, Bitcoin, Dollar, XRP and others.

Ledger in general means collection of financial accounts.
