How will existing blockchains start using ILP? Will individual blockchains become a thing of the past?
ILP is an abstraction layer for blockchains (and all payment networks). It won’t replace individual networks because ILP doesn’t have its own native settlement mechanism. It uses whatever settlement the infrastructure providers decide to support.
