On May 22nd 2023 EZA team hosted Bitcoin Pizza Day, bringing together the community to engage in a highly informative discourse with esteemed Kenyan regulators. Notable attendees included distinguished government representatives from the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK), Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Kenya Bankers Association (KBA), and Binance East Africa, among other esteemed individuals. The focal points of the discussion encompassed the prevailing regulatory landscape and the ongoing deliberations on the crypto bill. The importance of actively involving regulators in endeavors, particularly with regard to fostering widespread adoption, was emphasized. It was indeed a pleasure to finally have the opportunity to meet Mr. Suleiman CEO of MUDA in person.
